AWANA Clubs 2023
The AWANA program provides a safe and fun environment for children to learn about truth from the Holy Bible and practice memorizing important verses to carry with them in their hearts. Every meeting night involves time for Scripture memory, group games, and an age-appropriate counseling message.
The AWANA program runs from 7:00 to 8:15 on most Wednesday nights during the school year. Doors open for drop-off at 6:50. No children should be dropped off before that time. All children should be picked up by 8:30. Meetings will not be held on nights when Lincoln Public Schools have canceled classes due to weather conditions.
We ask that you provide a cell phone number so that we can communicate important information to you via voice and text message as necessary. We will not send more than 3 texts per month.
NOTE: Game time involves physical activity and routinely takes place on hard surfaces such as the fellowship hall or a church parking lot, so we ask that all children attending Awana clubs (both boys and girls) wear long pants to limit the chances for scraped knees or similar minor injuries.
